Paul Crooks - Researcher
Paul Crooks pioneered research into African Caribbean genealogy during the 1990s. He traced his family history from London, back 6 generations, to ancestors captured off the West African coast and enslaved on a sugar plantation in Jamaica. Paul gained national recognition for his work when his acclaimed historical novel "Ancestors" (based on the true story of the author's African ancestors) was published in 2002. He appeared on "Who Do You Think You Are?" (Moira Stuart). His second book "A Tree Without Roots" is the authentic guide to tracing African, British and Asian Caribbean ancestry.

Clo has worked in administration for over 18 years. She retrained as a chef and her qualifications include an Advanced Diploma and BSc in International Culinary Arts. She also volunteers time to work with children and young people.

Robert Martin Kelly - Film Production and Multimedia
Robert has been making films for over 10 years, having worked on documentaries, behind the scenes filming for the BBC, corporate and training films, shorts and music videos, while at the same time taking courses in Interactive Multimedia (MSc at Middlesex University), Filmmaking and Cinematography, to give him a fully rounded appreciation of the craft.
